Greetings from BAV International Senior Sec.School

The day focused on children and their enjoyment.

The day commemorated with immense joy ,

enthusiasm and magnificence. Our students came dressed up in casual clothes and brought their favourite lunch. The celebrations began with the  Prayer, followed by variety of fun filled activities and games planned by the teachers for their children.

The teachers made Children’s Day special for their children by involving them into various games.  

According to that for the winner, we was gave some valuable gifts and certificate to appreciate them.

Silappadikaram or THE TALE OF AN ANKLET is one of the 5 great Tamil epics composed at the end of Sangam era around 4th Century AD. The author was a Cheran Prince Ilango Adigal  who was believed to be the brother of Cheran ruler Senguttuvan. The epic is divided into 3 chapters with a total of 5270 lines. The three chapters are named as Puharkandam, Maduraikandam, Vanjikandam. The epic weaves in it the 3 ancient Tamil kingdoms as contemporaries starting from Chola, Pandya and Cheras. Meanwhile to create a patriotic among the students we organised the speech competition about silappadikaram.
